Kids are so busy these days. Between school, sports, activities, and family commitments, there’s often very little time to just unwind and be kids.
I remember running to the mailbox when I was little, getting so excited to see what had arrived—especially anything with my name on it, and of course the toy catalogs. (Those were the BEST!)
Happy Mail brings a little bit of that feeling back.
I wanted to create something that felt exciting to receive—something kids would actually look forward to. A place where they can be creative, try a fun new art project, jump into a theme, play games, mazes, and puzzles, and open a few little surprises like stickers and other magical touches.
No screens. No “what should we do now?” moments. Just open it up, grab your supplies, and start creating.
My hope? It’s the kind of mail kids actually run to the mailbox for.
My Mission
I want Happy Mail to be something kids genuinely look forward to every single month.
Because honestly—life is just better when you have something fun coming your way, right?
So much of art (and honestly, life) can start to feel like it has to be “right.” I care way more about kids trying something new, sticking with it when it feels tricky, and realizing… hey, I can actually do this.
If a project sparks creativity, builds confidence, and gets a kid to sit down and make something with their own two hands—I’m happy.
That’s what this is all about: joy, creativity, and giving kids a little moment in their day that feels fun, exciting, and just for them.

Hi, I’m Jenny—an art teacher, mom of two kids in college, wife of a husband who puts up with my constant art messes, proud maltipoo owner, and the person behind all of this.
I’ve been teaching art to kids for over 15 years, and I’ve seen it all—the kids who dive right in, the ones who are hesitant, and the ones who swear they’re “not good at art” (I truly love them all).
My whole approach is about making art feel fun, doable, and a place where kids can relax, be themselves, and just enjoy the process.
